ENJOYABLE EVENT AT RIUTTALA
The event arranged at Riuttala are get-togethers that reflect the unhurried spirit of the past.
The church service on Midsummer Sunday, with coffee served afterwards, evoke the old times when people in the countryside used to travel from far and near to come together for worship.
The program of the Riuttala Day, a local festival taking place in July, may include demonstrations of traditional working methods. While watching the various masters display their skill you might even be given a short ‘apprenticeship'.
Towards the end of August, a harvest festival with a buffet meal of regional specialities as well as dancing and singing is arranged at Riuttala.
